Using LogmeIn or remote PC access?

Hi There:
i want to know if it is better to use a LogmeIn website to access to my Laptop or my Office PC to access to my Ebay Account or Google Checkout account than VPN from abroad?
which IP is it assigned to them when i am visiting Ebay or GC while i am accessing my host PC? the Host PC' IP or the the original PC' IP?.
