Stavros. Do you plan on ruining everything for everyone else? Because posting like that doesn't bother me. But gives the 1 marketiva thread that won't be closed the chance to become a big mess.
I have done as requested by you are your company, including arv removal.
I'd also like to say something nice about marketiva.
Their platform is good. Its missing a few little features that can be lived without, but its a good program. Nice design. I don't like the broker, but the programmer should be proud.
To counter the viscious lies spread about takiii and myself in the thread titled "Ask me about Marketiva!", I post below the letter that was posted out to 30 (not 250) Marketiva users. They gave their emails freely as they were promised a helpful strategy email as "takisd" left Marketiva.
I quote the Marketiva admin from the aforementioned thread...
After their access to our services have being denied, these individuals contacted more than 250 (speculation) of our customers with a letter in which they asked our customers to switch to another forex dealer, using fabricated accusations to backup their recommendation.
I don't have the original email addresses that the message was sent to so my claim of 30 emails against their claim of 250 is difficult to prove wrong, however as you can plainly see below, the email is simply giving good trading advice and not "they asked our customers to switch to another forex dealer, using fabricated accusations to backup their recommendation.". That my friends is a complete and utter lie. Read on below for proof.
A MSG FROM TAKISD
Hello Marketiva chat.
No I am not dead. And Yes I am still trading. More succesfully than ever since i left marketiva actually.
I had promised a couple of Indian counterparts a small mail as a "going away" present from the chat. Well we'll see how small it gets.
No i am not going to unveil my strategy, however I will point out a few piece of strategies for you to test and try on your own. I am also going to point out a little forex psychology and why chat rooms are bad.
Anyway I am going to start off with the psychology part of it all.
Psychology in forex is about 90% of what you need to succeed. Why you say? Coz times can get tough, and fires can get hot. You can always play with fire, but you must try not to get burnt. That is a perfect example of forex trading. Its not what you do, its how you do it. This also comes to mind.
Anyway, the psychology of trading is very simple, but very hard all in the same.
Alot of you come from poorer countries, right? As far as i know its true. I am lucky to be from Australia but living in greece. Two established countries, so I really don't need to worry as much as you.
Frankly patience and persistence is the key to winning. If you cannot sit still whilst trading, throw your pc off the balcony and go ride a bike or something and get a day job. You will not succeed. You have to wait for a PERFECT time to trade, you can be waiting days or months sometimes, but if you trade outside perfect conditions, the fire comes into play. And you get burnt. So, if you are only making 1 trade a day or 3 trades a week, IT DOES NOT MATTER, as long as you are trading the perfect trade.
Another thing that is very important (especially for marketiva traders) is GREED.
YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS.
From my experience in Marketiva chat, 99.99% of you are greedy, and to put it harshly, not very intelligent about the way you go about things.
This factor can be conquered though, and it is quite simple. Slap yourself a few times or don't look at the money you are trading but more the pips.
Pips are important, and make the trades go round (sad phrase i guess). If you are making pips, you will get rich one day, probably before you know it, but you have to be patient.
So if you feel like you are on drugs whilst trading, do some yoga, or drink some tea, calm down, take it slow. You will get there.
Anyway, I guess you are a bit bored with all the psychology yada that I am talking. Coz really all you want is the key factors of trading. Unfortunately thats them.
But I will give you some ways to trade charts if you would like.
I have been speaking to a select few on msn about trading recently, brainstorming and what not. I actually have about 30 strats I have written and sorta published. (No you cannot have them).
But there are 3 things I want you to add to your charts.
These things are, 1) A pivot script if you are on MT4. If you dont have mt4 i advise you get it.
2) 2 SMA's on the page 1 low number 1-10 and 1 high number 20-60
(i am not giving you the real numbers directly, you have to do some hard work testing)
3) A parabolic sar with 0.01 and 0.2 indicies.
4) Make these things on 1 hour chart, and draw the most recent trend channels.
Ok I will briefly explain how to use them.
If you have the pivot script installed properly, it will show you the PIVOT M1 M2 etc S1 S2 R1 R2 (Support/Resistances/Minors).
This is infact the most important part of trading the current market, because its very news stricken, and big buyers only enter at certain stages of the market.
This is a simple daily trading strategy but you have to make decisions on your own and look for important points to enter.
You wake up in the morning, its market reset time, so everything has started at 0.00 again.
You look at the pivot line, then look at the candles on your chart. Which is above which?
If the candles are above the pivot line you have to decide whether you are going to long at pivot or short at resistance (having a daily news calender really helps with this). If the pivot is above, you have to decide if you are going to short at the pivot or long at support.
This strategy works well if you have a trend verification.
I usually set stop loss at the next major S or R line for this, but you can decide.
The 2SMAS will show you the trend. Having 1 sma cut another SMA means a 2ndary trend has changed. If a secondary trend changes, they will cross clear and show a bull/bear over the cross to verify the change. This helps you to verify which direction you should go on the pivots. You will also find another way to use them, but from my experience you can get burnt.
The SAR is the 2ndary verification tool. If you have a bullish trend, and sar is not showing a bull dot, don't enter. Simple. You have the 3 things in accordance and winning becomes quite simple.
The trend channel is probably the most important of these things. The fact that 99% of the traders i know from marketiva cannot draw a correct trend channel makes things more difficult though.
I am not going to teach you how to do it, you have to do the research and hard work (just as I, Jafar, Henrycarol, cvisser etc etc etc etc etc etc have done). Yes you will cry (but i want my money now) thats your problem, either you can work hard and succeed or you cant.
Anyway the trend channels give you a line of sight. If you have ever shot a gun you will understand this. Line of sight is pure, and simple to use. You have 2 lines, the prices are inbetween the 2 lines, the 2 trend signalers are both the same way, but the channel has been cut out of. THIS IS RETRACEMENT, PERFECT TIME TO ENTER. Now is your chance to profit. Wait for the biggest candle in the wrong direction, let it finish, next candle opens opposite direction, this is your signal to enter. Follow the trend, but enter outside it. Kind of foolish sounding, but its really how the market is.
On another note, the sad thing about doing this is, when you don't you lose. When you do, you succeed. I have sometimes gotten lazy and lost from it. I suffered the price and now I am focussed and succeeding.
Now I have given you a fair bit of info on a strategy I partly use. Its not the complete strategy, as the rest i use for my own comfort.
It is hard work, so ignore it if you are too lazy, go back to speculating.
I just want to make some shoutouts to the boys in chat. Jafar henrycarol and my indian buddies.
I would also like to ask you to ignore a person called dr_gaines because he is a stupid noob who cant trade for balls.
If you want me fellas, contact jafar, he is now my personal secretary of marketiva
Since it is the sticky thread,I posted here the message from Marketiva :
Quote:
Dear TalkGold People,
This message is for you, TalkGold.com forum participants and administrators. The reason we want to address you is a serious situation that developed on this forum regarding opinions and posts concerning Marketiva Corporation (the "Marketiva").
Prior to posting this message, we have contacted this forum's administrators to explain the situation about two participants on this forum who were posting false accusations about our company for more than two months, driven by the fact we have denied their access to our services for their rude behavior towards other users participating on Marketiva's own discussion channels. After their access to our services have being denied, these individuals contacted more than 250 (speculation) of our customers with a letter in which they asked our customers to switch to another forex dealer, using fabricated accusations to backup their recommendation.
Unfortunately it seems we have been overly patient, allowing those individuals not only to spread fabrications about our company but also to create a hostile situation on this forum. We will consider further steps to deal with these individuals, while collecting posts, letters and other evidence we may use in a possible legal case.
The other side of the problem we want to deal with is to do our share in making the discussion about Marketiva on this forum, less hostile. Here are the main issues we have identified:
1) There are too many threads that talk about Marketiva.
2) There are too many messages that can be considered as SPAM.
3) There are too many unverified accusations from all sides.
In order to address these issues, we are proposing the following:
1) This thread "Ask me about Marketiva!" to be the only thread, forum participants should post their opinions in, regarding Marketiva. This is to control the large number of Marketiva-related threads that exist on this forum.
2) All other Marketiva-related threads on this forum to be set as "read-only" threads by forum administrators, and all newly created Marketiva-related threads to be immediately deleted. This will make sure the existing threads and posts stay there as an archive, so URLs to specific old posts continue to work. What is more important, this setting will cause the existing Marketiva-related threads to become obsolete and inactive (since no new posts can be added to a read-only thread), and to move towards the end of the threads list, making space for other threads.
3) If participants on this forum notice posts where Marketiva's affiliates place their affiliate URLs within the post's body, to promptly contact our support through contact form on Marketiva's web site. We will warn the affiliate in question by suspending his or her client account and if the same behavior continues to permanently suspend the affiliate's account. In addition, if some of our more sophisticated affiliates post SPAM without explicitly mentioning their affiliate URL, we will work with TalkGold's administrators to identify and warn these individuals.
4) In order to reduce number of false accusations directed towards our company, that were already posted on this forum many times, we are willing to go extra step in taking part into the problem analysis. If a problem occurs, we will invite the user who had the problem to send as an e-mail and to publish it here. Our support personnel will answer the accusations in the e-mail, and the person voicing accusations will have to post here our answer as well. That way we will not break our Privacy Policy and the accuser will be able to support his or her accusations in front of other forum participants, who will be able to hear from both sides and decide for themselves if the accusation or criticism was justified or not.
5) We will kindly ask this forum's administrators to remove photos of our employees that two forum participants have been using as a way to provoke other users of this forum and even to misrepresent themselves as related to Marketiva while posting malicious accusations. Another forum participant has been using Marketiva's trademark in an offensive arrangement within his account, and we will kindly ask forum administrators to remove that image as well.
As the first step, we urge you to use this channel for all the future discussion that concerns Marketiva and services it provides. If we together manage to implement the steps listed above, we believe this forum will become much more useful, and Marketiva will get a much more constructive criticism and praise.
Sincerely,
Marketiva Support Managers & Supervisors

I think Stavros will be banned with repeated posts here. He doesn't help marketiva but just creates troubles for marketiva here.
I think so too. Just report and ignore.
Now that Marketiva has had their say, and I have posted the email sent out to 16(I found the sent email headers) subscribers to counter the accusations against myself and takiii, I hope this thread can just be a Marketiva discussion and I can just stay out of it.
Please clean this entire thread. This affiliate contacted us earlier today with an alarming email. We have suspended him now.
